Ben's passion for garden design started back in 1995 when he helped his Grandpa build his garden pond, which is still standing to this very day.
Later, and after a few different career paths, Ben walked into Moulton College as a BTEC Student in Horticulture. There he learnt the practical side of building a garden, maintaining equipment and the dreaded but vital plant identification. This really was the catalyst that started a love of the industry.
Having firmly caught the bug it was at this point he knew where his future laid so he decided to continue his studies at the University of Glasgow, achieving a BSc Hons in Garden and Green Space Design, all while working “on the tools” building gardens across the Greater Edinburgh area. For the last four years, Ben has worked in a large Leicestershire design company.
Proudley Designed Gardens is the culmination of all of Ben's hard work, dedication and passion for garden design - creating beautiful and unique spaces that people love.
I was in the SAS - Snacks And Snackers - elite team and I am a young but accomplished Golden Retriever who has honed his skills in a very short period of time.
I am not an "official" member of the Proudley Designed Gardens team but I know - when needed - I can excavate and recreate at speed and with purpose! I am a digging and creating machine.
